NEW LEAGUE STRUCTURE

THE NEW flatter, more regionalised league system originally advocated by FOSRS will be introduced over the next two seasons. FOSRS estimates that it will reduce club travel time and cost in the former natioal leagues by 45%, as well as making progress up and down the leagues swifter. The reduction to 10-team leagues will reduce the overall season length which, with pre-season training, is expected to fall to nine months.
